Louis Castle, CEO of InstantAction Inc., will be addressing LOGIN Conference attendees on Tuesday, May 11th as a keynote speaker over lunch. Mr. Castle will be discussing current and future alternative methods of digital distribution for interactive entertainment. The 2010 LOGIN Conference is a cutting-edge event for an international audience of top-notch game developers and serious deal-makers. LOGIN and all official conference-related activities will take place from May 10th to May 13th at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott Hotel facing the beautiful Puget Sound. Mr. Castle's talk will be a case study in the business philosophies and technologies employed in launching the new InstantAction site, InstantAction.com. The goal is to help attendees navigate the myriad technologies and techniques of digital customer acquisition and interactive entertainment delivery. Lessons learned from the reinvention of InstantAction will be shared to help others find suitable solutions for their content or distribution service. Mr. Castle is the co-founder of Westwood Studios, former Vice President of Creative Development for Electronic Arts Los Angeles and serves as the CEO of InstantAction Inc. an IAC (NASDAQ IACI) company. Over the past 24 years he served in many business roles including CEO, COO, and CFO at Westwood, growing the company from 2 founders to over 250 employees. While he served as Westwood's COO, the company negotiated 4 multinational acquisitions. In his creative roles, he has contributed as executive producer, creative director, technical director, programmer and artist to over 100 games created by Westwood and EA over the past 24 years. His most recent collaboration was with Steven Spielberg to create the award winning family game franchise, BOOM BLOX, for the Nintendo Wii. Mr. Castle is the second individual in his industry to have been honored with the International Game Developer Associations lifetime achievement award (1999). He is currently serving his 13th year on the advisory board for the Game Developers Conference. Mr. Castle also currently serves as an outside director for Shuffle Master, a publicly traded company (SHFL) and serves on the audit, compensation and governance committees.
